Allen's Community Theater to present 'Charlotte's Web' in February

Allen's Community Theater starts off the new year with the classic tale of an unlikely friendship between a pig and a spider.

"Charlotte's Web," adapted by Joseph Robinette and based on the book by E.B. White, is the story of Wilbur the Pig and the enduring friendship he develops with a poetic spider named Charlotte.

The show is directed by Robin Coulonge and runs Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 1 and 2 and Feb. 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. There will be a special matinee performance on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 3 p.m. Performances will be at the Allen Christian Church which is located in the heart of Allen Heritage Village, 450 E. St. Mary Drive. Ticket prices are $15 adults/$13 senior citizens/$10 students.
